Just Dance! Praise Dance, Mime & Flag Worship Camp 



Dance camp is back again for its 2nd year strong. Come out and enjoy a full week of instruction nightly, then help us kick off the Praise Fest Concert to close camp out the following Saturday. Each night you will attend your chosen class and learn a different piece of the chosen routine. Then on Saturday night at the Praise Dance Explosion, each class along with other guests will minister the song that they learned. Pre sign up interests are being taken now. Official registration will open soon. Registration fee is $35 for Praise and Flags and $40 for Mimes. It includes Camp T-Shirt, 5 days of instruction and a complimentary dinner the evening of the concert. Gospel miming class includes the make up and a pair of white gloves. CONCERT IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!

Dance Camp Registration will officially open on June 1st. I will post the link on my page. You can also call the church office at (510) 489-0394 or mail your registration in if you received a form. You may also register in person. The church address is 33700 Alvarado Niles Rd, UNion City Ca 94587.

STRONGMAN

Strongman was derived from 1Kings 2:2: “… be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man.”

King David was on his deathbed and was parting ways with his son and heir to the kingdom, Solomon. The aforementioned verse depicts a passing of the guard from one generation to the next. Today, in our day and age, we need strongmen to be an example and set a standard for succeeding generations. As we launch this new ministry, we are excited for what awaits us in 2013.

We are delighted to announce two wonderful monthly activities, “Temple Upkeep” and “Stepping Up” video series.

Temple Upkeep:

God has blessed the Union City Apostolic Church with an attractive temple where we can worship. It is a great honor for us as men to be able to contribute in maintaining our place of worship. As mentioned above, “strongman” is a ministry that is passing down to the next generation; therefore, we encourage you to bring your children and teach them the importance and sanctity of maintaining the house of the Lord. We will meet at 7:30am first Saturday of every month, with breakfast burritos, OJ, and coffee served to the team. 

 Video Series:

On the last friday of every month (registration @ 7:pm) we will commence with our video series “Stepping Up.” We will meet in the sanctuary and watch a thirty-minute video. Following the video we breakout into group sessions to discuss video content. The video series will take place the last Friday of every month. (Snacks will be provided between video and breakout sessions)

I encourage you to pledge yourselves to this movement. God has so much in store for the men of Union City. When men lead families will follow! It is time that we take our rightful place in leadership!
